30 Second Digital Voice or Sound Recorder. Great for sounds on the model railroad or projects. It is a small device that records fairly sensitively and sounds pretty good on playback. It would work really great as a background sound in a scene or project. Easy to record and playback with simple buttons. Simply press and hold the round record button and talk or hold up to record a noice or sound. Release the record button and it digitally stores the sound. Press the play button and the sound will play. To erase and start over, simply repeat the record process.

Comes assembled in a plastic enclosure with Record and Playback buttons. It has a battery compartment that hold 2 AAA batteries. Also includes an enclosed microphone and speaker.

The unit is easy to take apart by removing small screws. The circuit board, speaker, microphone and battery holder can be used with out the enclosure. It can also be wired to a remote play button or magnetic switch to remotely active the sounds. The recorder will record on continuous sound clip up to 30 seconds long.

Note: These units were originally made for a special event and come with a small plastic figure mounted on it. The figure can be removed by opening the plastic enclosure and removing a couple of screws.
