The lights in the buildings change to give a lived in look and the traffic lights cycle like a real one. The trolley runs down Main street and never runs a red light. It also has a factory scene with simulated welding which turns on and off at irregular intervals. All of the events are programmed to simulate a real live city and it is programmed to make it hard to predict what will happen next, like in real life.
